Biker Chick

Morning everyone. Looks like Mr Sunshine has finally decided to come out to play again. I am so glad as I have a mountain of washing that I desperately need to pile through :-) In the meantime though I was asked to make a card for a 50th birthday. So I decided to take the plunge & get my 1st Kenny K image. I have been admiring these images from afar but finally decided to get 1 coloured. I am so glad I did :-)

I coloured the image using Promarkers & added some silver Metallic Promarkers for detail. I then layered onto this gorgeous backing paper, punched the centre border & added some flowers & gems. The 50 was cut on my bug & I added some stickles to it for some extra bling lol!!

I carried the papers through to the inside of the card & added some more bling :-)x Clare x

Afternoon Everyone. I have finally got a card made! I have been so run off my feet recently but I made sure that I got some time today.

Today we are showcasing a fab image over at Daisy Doodles. This image will be half price for the next 2 weeks.  I think it is perfect for the weather we have had recently lol! Check out the challenge blog to see who is our Guest Designer.

I have used these fab papers that were freebies. The image was coloured with Promarkers. I have based my card on a sketch over at Cards & Things. I bugged the white circle & added some ribbon, gems & sentiment. x Clare x

Evening Everyone


Unfortunately my blogging is a bit sporadic at the moment. I am in the middle of rearranging the house so I finally get my craft room/office now my son has moved out & I have loads of orders waiting to be created. Juggling these with my new gardening hobby & a new craft group has meant that my blogging has had to take a back seat. However, I did get this card made today :-)

I just love this image by Bugaboo & ended up buying a few :-) I used the sketch over at Friday Sketch Challenge. The papers are all freebies & I used Distress Inks around the edge of the image & sentiment. Here is a close up.

Daisy's Image Inspirations - Wedded Bliss

Good morning everyone. I am pleased to say we haven't had any snow yet & this morning the back door is wide open & the blackbirds are singing in the sunshine :-) Over at Daisy Doodles we have some great projects to inspire you. Miss Daisy has also reduced the price of the image for a Limited Time so pop over & grab it while you can.

I wanted to keep the card fairly simple so I coloured using Promarkers & layered onto some HOTP papers. I added some liquid pearls to the flowers & Stickles to ner veil & necklace. I then made a pin to go in the ribbon bow & added the sentiment "Love".

I carried the theme through to the inside of the card & using the papers & sentiment tags. I also found this great definition of a Kiss in the paper stack.

Caveman Card

Here is a card I made for my son's best friend. He was 14 & likes a bit of humour. The image is by Lee Jacobs. I coloured in with Promarkers. The DP is by Dovecraft. Using a cotton bud & water I tore a rectangle of Mulberry paper & layered them all together x Clare
